Chez Mikietyn

A glorious walk off peninsula (extras) and a quick drive to Ullapool where Jan has lunch ready. While we wait for Rhonie, Topher shows me his patented wave power device (link coming soon).

Then visit Emma at Leckmelm. The place has grown so much since I last visited - and there’s loads going on. Tea and a tour. Horse and hoogle terraces. Kids Croft and cushion covering. Inspirational.

Next stop, Jerry & Lydia’s at Loggie on the dark side. Jerry’s knackered from fishing mackerel nights for bait. We chat and wander the croft - and I admire Lydia’s polytunnel.

Final resting place is Moz & Alice’s at Letters (main photo). Amazing house (design & frame by Bernard @ northwoodsdesign.co.uk), great company, delicious food and … a bed.
