Close up

A delivery today of a new-to-me macro lens which we put to good use this evening when Dad and I walked Bailey either side of the bridge. We started in the barley (or possibly wheat) field which is yet to be cut and had a lot of wild flowers along its borders - including this rosebay willow herb. Back over the road and down the bridleway for a bit and we spotted lots of other wildflowers, this time more deliberately sown by the road builders.

Earlier there was a change of wall light at the front door after lunch and after Mum and Dad had had a slow journey over from the west.
