Man and Grafitti

The kitchen worktops were installed today.  We are almost there!!

Once the work was finished, we went out for a coffee (I am really looking forward to getting my coffee machine working again - I am fed up with instant coffee).  We still don't fancy sitting inside the cafe, so we took our drinks and sat on a bench on the high street, watching cars and people go by. Always fascinating.  A friend passed by and stopped for a chat.  I felt much more relaxed and less stressed by the time we got home.

More work on the kitchen tomorrow:  we have been promised a working kitchen by the end of the day (although I accept that there will still be issues to be corrected in the coming week or two.)
