Derelict chic

This used to be the Enmore Box and Case Factory. Built around 1927, it made timber crates and boxes for transportation. Nimble, it later specialised in gift boxes and bespoke orders, up to 2012. This former factory can boast more than 80 years operation. It was redeveloped for residential in 2014, preserving many original features, including corrugated steel cladding, showing rust.

I love the fact that it wasn't demolished to make way for a different lot of boxes for people to live in.

Thanks for hosting Marlieske. Stay well all.
