Halfcut

I managed to get out between showers to explore a few hedgerows along nearby lanes. No gaps with worthwhile views appeared until reaching the top of the hill where the trees opened up. I spotted this field which had been harvested, but only half way across. Maybe the farmer was interrupted by the weather.

I tried narrow apertures so near and far would be sharp, but then wind was an issue. I opted instead to keep the foreground in focus, rendering the distant trees as simple shapes.

Not bad for a rainy day.
