Great Tit. ( Parus major )

The day didn't start well from a summerhouse erecting point of view, it was raining.  The mate arrived he is staying to be "technical advisor" during the build, not being fit enough for the heavy work.

It dried up enough so that by the end of the day all the levellers were accurately spaced and more importantly exactly level.

Of the few photos I took this rather bedraggled female Great Tit was the choice.  She is certainly showing the wear and tear of a season spend raising hungry broods.  She needs a good moult and a rest.
