That’s My Name And Love’s the Game

Sunny and mild all day. We were up and out the door by 8:15 am. We try to be in WV for the large artisan fair called Skaker Woods in Columbiana, OH. It is a three hour trip each way. There are over 200 vendor stalls selling art ranging from primitive furniture to fine jewelry. We have our favorites. We try to find unique gifts for our German friends and we were successful. It is almost overwhelming with that many choices. The guys get to listen to live music while we shop. I wanted a special blip today since I think this is number 300 and was getting worried. But as we neared the end, we found it. We located a new (to us) Catholic Church on the way home. The pastor was very personable and gave a great sermon. There is good news from home. Mack is feeling almost normal and is ready to escape her isolation. Chase has no fever and only body aches. River has the occasional fever spike but he is definitely improving. This old Grammy sure feels helpless but the parents are doing fine on their own. We are all staying informed with group texts. It’s pizza night and that’s good. We are four old codgers looking for a comfy chair. Thanks for the visit et al. Stay safe and enjoy your weekend. “Just about the time a woman thinks her work is done, she becomes a grandmother.” – Edward H. Dreschnack
