Pansy survival

I took the photo in the hope I could capture the glorious velvety purple of the pansy. But what it really shows is that it’s a hard life being a pansy. The wire mesh is the possum proof fence, and the specks are sawdust from the recent tree felling. The pansies are surviving well.
