Happy Birthday!

We collected Kanyl at lunchtime to go out for a Sunday roast at The North Lakes Hotel. The B-I-L was lucky enough to also get a birthday meal there this time last year but The Man and I have each missed our turn due to lockdowns.

Up until 18 months ago this hotel was our regular Wednesday night venue every fortnight. With only one visit since Covid-19 we were surprised the staff still recognised us.

We had a lovely meal and were surprised that all adult diners were being given a glass of Champagne. Cheers!
