Days are mixed up

We left Birmingham behind (Sunday)and headed onwards towards Stamford, arriving just after 1.30. We just got Pheobe unhitched when the rain came on, nothing for it but to have a cuppa.

The weather did brighten up considerably so we ventured into the beautiful town of Stamford widely  regarded as one of England’s finest stone towns.The town also boasts to have 11 churches, 30 pubs, 20 restaurants and over 10 quality hotels and guest houses. Most of the pubs serve Real Ale and are easy walking distance of the town centre.
After a very pleasant walk we headed back to the caravan site to enjoy our Chinese takeaway.
