Breagha's first beach....

We had friends staying for a couple of nights and some weeks ago we decided, if the weather was fine, that we would take them to the Seafood Cabin at Skipness where - surprisingly - we had never been despite living in Argyll for nearly 30 years.

The cabin is only open in the summer and has a great reputation , and we were not disappointed.   The food was wonderful and the surroundings beautiful.   My extra photos show the place itself, the view from the old Skipness  Castle across to Arran  (with the Cal Mac Lochranza ferry just visible) and a trimaran that passed the ferry from Portavadie earlier when we were coming across Loch Fyne.

But the best pic of the day is undoubtedly the one I have chosen for my blip.   Cathleen and the dogs on the beach, celebrating Breagha's first such outing, and Rula being as patient and long suffering as ever !
