Rockpooling

Another day which was spent almost entirely in Zoom meetings. At the end of it all I had a very necessary run. I was near the end before seeing this white-faced heron.

When I was still up near the top of the Highfield Reserve I saw two herons fly over at high speed, one obviously chasing the other. When they came back going the other way I tried a quick snap, getting only one of the participants in their mating ritual. It is the extra.
