Fuchsia Heaven

This year our fuchsias have done rather well, so they must enjoy the fairly warm and very wet weather that we've had this summer.  These are in one of two pots on our patio.  The skies remained grey again until late afternoon/early evening so we ploughed on with the sorting and clearing of our office.  Mr MC took some items to the recycle centre and there is a growing pile waiting to be taken to a charity shop.  No matter how much we remove though, the office still looks untidy and cluttered.

In other news: Afghanistan continues to fill the news.  The US forces are due to leave as planned on 31 August and the Taliban has said that it will not agree to an extension to that date.    The UK defence secretary says that we now have hours, not weeks, to evacuate people.
