Summertime

The second beautiful and almost summer day and most of the day we had backwind. I'm someone who cycles the best on flat terrain and am able to speed up to over the 20 kilometers per hour on a long straight road. Bert had trouble with my speed. His e-bike does not support above 25 kilometers per hour.
Zeeland is perfect for speeding, provided the wind goes well. The large islands consists mainy of polders. Continuing flooding was the reason of making dikes in the 11th century and gain land.

In Zierikzee, where we wanted to look around, it was extremely busy with tourists. We continued our journey quickly.
