Hooch

The peaches are being a little persnickety this year. They look fabulous but the taste just isn't quite there. I'm not sure what is up, maybe not enough actual sunshine. I don't know. However, I don't think they have to be perfectly ripe to make a good hooch. This is just water, sugar, peaches and some champagne yeast and we'll let it sit for about a month.
The extra is the side view of the jar with the layers and water and a little abstract glassiness at the top.
The extra, extra is for comedy's sake.... the squirrel or one of its cousins who was sitting on top can also hang upside down and nibble. So very cute.
