Out With the Old and in With the New
Day 3 of the Central Heating change, Old water Cylinder out and new cylinder in. We are switching from LPG (the village does not have gas) to an 'Air Source Heat Pump'. 
Back in the day we missed out on the large government grant to install solar panels but this time we hit it just right (I think the rules are due to change in March next year)
One disadvantage of the change is that the heat loss from the new cylinder will be far, far less than the old due to improved design and insulation. This means Sue has lost an airing cupboard. 
I have attempted to show the relative size if the cylinder in the photo.
