Dripping Purple

Another day of slow-moving, prolonged and heavy showers. Many places missed them entirely. Two sat on us here. I managed to take a warm and muggy walk between them. Result. There can have been fewer summer weekends ever where I've ended up staying so close to home. It's been helpful for the writing.

It's a good year for the heather. The quarry looked wonderfully dramatic today. It's taking me time to get around to processing the photographs.
