Stock chutes underway

Had a some other things to do for a few days - rearranging the garage and getting rid of stuff we don't even remember buying or using.  Put up some shelves and we are DONE.  So today back building the S scale stock pens and chutes.  The blip will be the three "sides" of the inclined chutes that get the cattle or sheep up into a stock car - or out of same.  The bottom piece gets glued to the one just above it once that one drys.

The double chute had a high ramp for the second level in sheep cars - for the sheep.  The lower chute is for the cattle in a single level car or sheep for the lower level on a sheep car. Hadn't planned on having sheep and cattle but I think I will - have a cowboy/sheepherder figure to paint so will buy many sheep.

Nice kit to build - especially with the template drawing for this step and all the included photos.  Lots of posts to cut and glue.  Banta (maker) even included a nice block of wood to get the posts even and later to build the chutes.  All fun so far.  I think the kit is out of production but if you want one write Banta.
