Fresh in Figueira

Absolutely loving being here, four plus hours from us, but feels like a different country. I actually wore a cardigan as we ate dinner on the esplanade of an Italian restaurant - also a huge novelty for us. The tiramisu was one of the best I’ve had - recommended by the Bangladeshi waiter, who spoke perfect Portuguese and English.

Haven’t brought my laptop, using my phone, so no editing or anything. (Have now edited, my lens was filthy!)

Grateful:
- a safe drive
- this wonderful country
- our cozy little hotel, which almost feels like home, we’ve stayed twice before, and Sr António is so friendly
