It has snowed all morning and I can safely say it has not done this before on the 22nd March for at least the past 38 years. Yes it is our 38th Wedding Anniversary and it was a cool and breezy day 38 years ago here, but the daffodils were bravely flowering and there was no sign of snow.
Last year we were in the Lakes for three days and it was like summer, we had a lovely South Lakeland walk. .
The year before that was great too, we were seeing all the signs of Spring at Chatsworth House where we had afternoon tea.
I don't remember the year before as I hadn't started blip (I was probably working).
Today we walked along to the garden centre with the snow in our faces and had lunch at the Potting Shed. It was cosy and warm. It was too wet to get the camera out so I took this pretty Helebore, with its head drooping even more than usual with the snow, in the garden just outside the back door. Good Large
