Love/hate relationship

A splash of colour provided by a plant that has become ubiquitous here, the mombretia/crocosmia. To me, it jars and it provides very little sustenance for wildlife but it seems very popular in gardens (because its tough!) and now grows in all sorts of places it shouldn't be.

Another night of poor sleep, waking in the small hours. No idea what's brought this on as its very unlike me but I'd like it to go away! So a crawling start and lunch at the Fossil Museum after dog training/walking.

Just a 'meh' sort of day, despite the lovely weather. I'm hoping for better sleep tonight.
