Slender Ladies' Tresses

I saw (and blipped) these wild orchids for the first time last year. Sadly the place where there were a lot of them has been more scrupulously weed whacked this year - so there aren't any. But this one I just suddenly saw alongside the path we mow along the edge of the hayfield. Surprise! The Husband said - as he does with some regularity - "I can't believe you saw that!" I smiled. I thank Blipfoto for helping me to notice and to see things I never saw before.
