Getting acquainted

Tomorrow is the big day. We will be opening the door to the new chickens coop and let them mingle with the older chickens. This has been a long and hard process. Today, sadly and through necessity, we are down to just one rooster. We have left the mildest of the two new black ones to be the sole rooster and hopefully it will still be several months before he gets any roosterly urges. Enough time for everyone to settle into the new arrangement.
