Watching the Wedding.

Our older son and (then) fiancé got married on 15 July 2021! (nice photos in my 15 & 16 July 2021 journal). Our younger son was Best Man.

We’d Sunday lunch together today and watched their wedding video and viewed their final collection of wedding photos on TV, (we’d seen a short preview when on North Uist recently). They didn’t disappoint.

I decided on this image for today’s post. It looks better on the big screen. This is of those “who made the cut” - sports term for those that got to the final….their big day was rescheduled because of Coronavirus Restrictions and the guest numbers trimmed. The church and hotel reception were impressively well controlled re the Restrictions - and there were no subsequent cases, which was a relief. Being in such a large group felt strange when we assembled briefly for this single shot in the evening light. I like the happy faces.

Their photos and video were lovely. A great keepsake.

It was a wonderful day.
