Happy 92nd Birthday Mum

Can’t believe my mum is 92!  She’s still ‘got all her marbles’, but this last year her hearing has got less , we def have to shout more but not like Barbara was.  This photo was her at 18, 1947, as I only took videos of the day completely forgot a pic - dam!

Yet another gorgeous day, but we sat in at Brown and Black, in Scone for a lunch, which was very good.  It was great to see Graham and MorAg after so long but Cameron and Dave couldn’t make it so we have another meal on Tuesday at Meiklour.

Back to Laura’s afterwards for the cake ceremony and then we all had a shot of Ben’s occulous, which he saved up for all year, a virtual reality head/eyeset. He out on this game where you go up in an open lift over the New York’s streets, then you walk over a plank to pick up a slice of cake, then when you pick it all these spiders arrive. It’s so realistic no matter that your feet are firmly on the ground what you see dominates. Then the worst one where you are on the plank, then it disappears and you are falling fast to the ground. I screamed and tore the headset off before the smack in the ground but others did it and you land hard on your feet then immediacy you get smacked into by a bus! Aaargh.

Took mum home with all her presents by this time it was after 9 and we all had a fab day.
