Those Cowper genes are strong!

Picked mum up at 1:30 and drove through lovely countryside to Uisage at Murthly for a family meal. Apart from Laura of course, she’s feeling rough in her bed. What a lovely setting for the meal, and it was so tasty.

Back to ours for the cake and a cuppa. We like the firework type candle for full effect and a hearty ‘happy birthday’. Ben had to remind mum not to blow too hard in case her teeth came out!

We had a lovely day - I said to mum it’s amazing that you were born in 1929 and seen all these changes in your life, the world and living conditions. She said more people are living longer nowadays !
Still got all her marbles but sadly can’t see out of one eye now.
