What to do with old banana's....

For some reason this week we've had a few banana's that have been left to turn black.

I've already made Nigel Slater's black banana bread and had my eyes opened to the possibility of battered banana by Walking Alone but today I decided to make banana and honey muffins. Now I realise they should be higher but I find muffins quite big and so I tend to make mine a little smaller....kind of like cupcakes but without the topping.

We're off to Devon tomorrow to stay with Flick for the weekend, looking forward to catching up and getting out and about by the seaside.
