Someone to watch over me...

This is a very, very old chalkware bust of Jesus that sits on a high shelf directly over my work area at a very long, heavy old farmer's table. There are other old chalkware statues of Mary, St. Theresa, Buddha and more. They bring me great comfort while I sit here and write and draw and illustrate my books and look out of my studio windows on numerous bird feeders with the wildlings everywhere outside and the 4 pugs and 5 parrots inside. I so love Jesus, showing his sacred heart, here to watch over me... <3
