Life through the lens...

A little star.

Flowering a little later this year is our beautiful Star Jasmine. Botanical name
Trachelospermum jasminoides.
Growing by the door. It has a lovely perfume especially early evening.
It has been in the same pot for four years, and I think next year will need a larger one.

A dentist appointment this morning. Just made it in time because of all the road works.
It took our lovely lady dentist about three quarters of an hour to replace the fillings on my two top front teeth, and also fill a couple of cracks.
She has really done a wonderful job. The wonders of modern dentistry, not forgetting a skill of the dentist.

This afternoon it stayed dry and so have spent most of the time tidying up the garden.
Very backendished.
I threw all the tomatoes away as they had gone rotten. Think they had tomato blight.

Last day of August and it feels as if summer is now over.
Heating back on soon!

We are absolutely disgusted to see all the tents and rubbish left behind after the Leeds Festival at Bramham Park.
I wonder if many of these young people go on marches to “ Save the Planet”, and protest about climate change.
What chance is there for the future when young ones do this.
