Ahead of the Storm

This is one of the sunflowers in front of Cooksey's Store. The outer bands of hurricane Ida have arrived. We are under a tornado watch tomorrow and have flash flood warnings. 
My granddaughter did a little better today. We played a board game and went to Lowes Home Improvement Store. They had a fantastic Halloween display. She was enchanted. We also picked up some plants, which she helped to install. She now has her own garden gloves.
The extra is another tiger swallowtail in the thistle.
