And another…

…sign of spring.

The day started with frost, and a zoom presentation in the International Speaker series from the NZ Climate Change Commission.

It was inspirational to hear what the IPCC and UN are reporting about the race to carbon zero. It turns out there is a heap of stuff actually happening across the world which simply isn’t making any news media. For the first time in ages I feel a tiny glimmer of optimism about the future…

Later in the day Bean and I walked in the spring sunshine past this wattle tree (Australian native) in almost full bloom. My mild spring hay fever has correspondingly kicked in. It’s a small price to pay…
