Purity….

Day 15 of COVID-19 Lockdown. Most of the North Island and all of the South Island has dropped to Level Three Lockdown. Although there are more activities permitted we still feel very restricted. There were 75 new cases of COVID-19 reported today. 74 in Auckland and one in Wellington. Despite this spike in numbers the Powers that Be are pleased with how the outbreak is trending…. Hopefully we will get the outbreak in control..
For me, the day started out cold and cloudy. Maisie and I walked early, through the pony club grounds, to Burleigh Bridge and back. The clouds cleared mid-morning allowing the sun to shine on this first day of spring. Son Duncan and I went for a long walk along river paths and then to Pollard Park. These Arum Lilies are growing alongside the lake in Waterlea Gardens, part of Pollard Park. We meandered home via river paths again.
