S is for September and also for Sedum

The bees love the Sedum and so do butterflies.  This lovely Painted Lady was so intent on her work that she didn't mind when a bee bumped into her.  They both turned and went right on with the pollen gathering.  They will need to gather all they can today as we will be getting the remnants of Hurricane Ida tonight into tomorrow with up to 2 inches of rain expected.  Luckily, we won't get the high winds.

I've added an extra of a Pink Edge Sulfur butterfly making the rounds of the sedum as well.
