Abstract Thursday

It has been a garden day today. Starting at the front, and finishing around the back. Made a start collecting the seeds from the Beebomb wild flowers. There are still flowers on the go, and the bees are busy on them, so leaving them as long as possible before cutting them back. The self seed cosmos are still flowering too.

Spotted this Brimstone butterfly, having a rest I think, so went back in for the camera, and here it is for my Thursday Abstract, as photographed in extras :-)

Took a break for lunch after which Sue dropped by for a cuppa, and a quick chat. So back out in the garden this afternoon. The buddleia, and lavender have both finished flowering, so cut them back, and took the hedge trimmer to another shrub (whose name escapes me) and trimmed it to a ball shape and it looks a lot better. Had a bit of a dig as well. Then decided as the ground was so dry to get the hose out and give the bed a soak. so can't do much more as the two green recycle bins that I have for garden waste are almost full, and don't get emptied until next week.

Thank you for popping in and for your comments and rewards, much appreciated :-)
