Scaffolding

Changes afoot at my house-sit: double glazing is due to be installed in the upstairs windows next week, so today - a day earlier than expected - scaffolding has been erected. 

Three very pleasant young men from a Carlisle company spent the whole morning on the job. P was worried that the plants would be trashed in the process, but the lads were mindful of that and nothing seems to have come to harm 

 Presumably they'll return at some point and take it all down again.
