Longsight morning

As I was leaving the house this morning to buy milk it seemed that this bare tree silhouetted against the severe morning sky perfectly caught the stark March morning so I decided to make it my blip of the day. Of course when I got home it wasn't as good as I hoped but it's too cold to go out again.

The houses are typical of Longsight, a southern Manchester suburb, now perhaps past its prime but a great, vibrant and cosmopolitan place to live.
