Something completely different.

We had a lovely day out in Ayrshire today visiting friends and having a lovely walk. There are two bridges in the shot. The white one that you can only just see behind the red one is the original bridge crossing the River Doon.  It's believed to have been built in the 1400s and rebuilt in 1700s.  The bridge has an important relationship to the story of Robert burns via his epic poem, Tam O' Shanter and thus Brig o' Doon remains a place of pilgrimage for fans of Robert Burns. It also featured in the 1954 film, Brigadoon starring Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse.
