Elvis …

..is having a party.
Spotted this the other day when driving past and immediately thought of Silly Saturday.
If you want to catch up on the story of Elvis see my blip from 2012. We did once had him in the garden over night in February before he was ‘moved’ into the garden centre. I was worried he wouldn’t survive the cold that night but as you can see he’s survived quite well!
He’s definitely a village character.

Walked along this morning to take the snap and bumped into Wendles56 leaving the garden centre. Such along time since we’ve had a good chat so she suggested we have a coffee. Unfortunately the Potting Shed at the garden centre was closed - Covid/ staffing? So we walked back to the village and went to Yorkshire Treats and had a coffee there instead. So good to have a catch up on all that’s happening with the families. Been far too long! Made my Saturday as I had nothing planned though we might treat ourselves to Fish and Chips out tonight.

All the family are now released from the Covid infection quarantine. Grace returned to work on Thursday and Jude has had her first two full days at nursery (they were out of quarantine earlier than John and Eda). Jude was a bit bemused when being dropped off but has apparently had a wonderful time with painting and other messy stuff! Eda is back at pre school on Tuesday.
