Break in Rehearsal

A day of singing today as a warm up to regular rehearsals. Good to know the voice still works, pitch is (reasonably) accurate and I can still read music! Covid precautions in place but no masks for singing. I realised that socially distancing of chairs is about the only (almost) effective way of stopping the altos talking!!!
Eating cake during the coffee break also inhibits talking!

Nothing has changed though - sopranos still can't remember something they knew quite well before Covid and basses always a smidge behind the beat, altos would have been talking and tenors are a law into themselves!!!

A quick recovery at home and then off to Guildford for a family celebration - granddaughter turned 18 earlier in the year and son-in-law reaches a half century in November.
