This burn is usually quite vigorous; I certainly shouldn't be able to stand here on its gravel bed and get this view. Still no significant rain on the horizon and the county desperately needs it.

Sore knees again today so I didn't do the heavy gardening I'd planned. Instead I was in housework mode after dog walking. We away for a few days soon and I like to leave the place tidy.

LH did a sterling spell outside, strimming down some of the wildflower area while it's still dry. Although some plants are still in full swing practical considerations have to come first.
