Mouse Ear Station

I made a bike ride today, lovely weather again and no project at home calling for me. On my way to our other project (where we have nothing to do other then paying) I came through Mümling-Grumbach and noticed this railway station building.
At first I thought a funny name, great for Silly Saturday.
But then, at home, I learned that this is called Mouse Ear Station because .... it is a reserve for a colony of the greater mouse-eared bat (Myotis myotis). During summer time around 1700 female bats with their off-spring live in it, the second largest colony in Hesse.
So, not the name was silly, but I was, for not knowing the environment I live in.
