On the barrel train

I's dad and I took her to Park Hall Countryside Experience for a fun day out.  She loved it.  We were there when the doors opened and some of the last to leave after six and a half hours of fun.

She wouldn't leave the bouncy castle to "meet the rabbits" but eventually when we got to move on loved the little play houses (where great fun was had with the older boys) , role play (extra), zip slide (extra), giant play barn and watched the pig racing when her chosen pig won.  We followed the woodland trail to find the Fairy Tale characters and looked at the WW1 replica trenches (Park Hall was formally an army training base) and drove the little electric cars.  The main blip is of her having a ride on the barrel train.

There was a huge Devil's Drop Slide that she was desparate to go on.  She pulled herself up to the tallest possible to meet the minimal height. She looked such a little dot at the top of this massive shoot (I wouldn't have gone down) but she loved it.  It was only open for thirty minutes at a time and she was the only one to go down it consistently (and running up the steep steps each time).

Afterwards she had a play on the instruments in the music room before we finally managed to get her out.  She loved it and we'll certainly be back. It's won national awards and well deserved too.

We were exhaused but I seemed to have boundless energy!
