Lunch with DD and PSiL

I was out at 845 to do my cleaning job, back by 1130.
They bought me lunch in the loopy shrew, which was a bit of an adventure as my Cesar salad came with bacon, after specifying no anchovies to make it ‘vegetarian’ I hadn’t spotted the bacon on the menu. When it finally arrived, the lettuce was gritty, but by then I couldn’t be bothered to complain again as t’others had finished their meals.

A lovely cycle back along the loop of the river and then I set to finishing the pickle and the marmalade. The marmalade looks cloudy and slightly odd colour, but is tasty. The pickle needs to stew for a week.
