Mooloolah River

After a short lie in, Martin and I were at it again (unpacking, rearranging furniture, changing plugs) and feeling well accomplished by midday.

Our niece had texted to say that she had 2 armchairs to get rid off and asked if we needed them, so we went to have a look in Warana. We liked them both so packed them up in the car.

Decided to swing past The Spit in Mooloolaba on the way back to have some yummy seafood. Mooloolaba is famous for its fresh seafood that is distributed all over QLD. These are some of the trawlers that bring back their great catches everyday.

Martin has been wanting to have fresh seafood here since we arrived in Australia, and thankfully he got to do it today. Father’s Day celebrations have begun. We both enjoyed the most delicious oysters, even Jon had one and said it wasn’t bad.

There was quite a downpour on the drive home to Peregian, guess the car got the wash it hasn’t had for two weeks!!!!
