Tongland Abbey Dig

Today's the day ......................... to open to the public

It was Open Day at the Tongland Abbey Archaeological Dig today - and we had a fair number of visitors coming to see what was going on.

Will kindly offered to be in charge of parking/meeter & greeter for the day and he did a great job.  He tells a slightly different story about the 'offering' bit (!) but he managed to fit in a quick painting in between looking after the visitors, which you can see here .........................
