Down Town

A trip into London.  W had an appointment so I kept myself occupied for a couple of hours and then we had a wander.  After a sandwich in St. James Park we walked through Westminster, past a couple of demonstrations in Parliament Square (one quiet, one very loud, plenty of Police around with little to do), and then sat in the little park behind the London Eye before heading back to our hotel.  A lovely warm day, and we’re off to a restaurant this evening where we’ve eaten before, so we know it’s good.
