O Is For ...

... osprey. Sadly the fish hawk hasn't visited Panshanger Park this year on its way to Africa. I suppose there's still a chance that it will appear but all the local photographers are losing hope. Such a shame as early September has been very convivial at the park for the past few years.

O is also for oding (like birding but with dragons and damsels) and that is what I've been enjoying doing in the lovely weather we have been having. Sorry my recent images are a bit samey. I exposed for the female willow emerald damselfly in my shot above and that has resulted in the attractive blue background.

My daughter and Frankie dog visited and we had a good chat and lunch under the hawthorn in the garden.
