A Walk in the Woods

Sunny and mild early, thunderstorm and very high humidity mid-day then mild in the evening. We had a very leisurely day. Read in the morning between meals. We hooked up the tv and surprisingly, our antenna picked up 51 channels. Always good to have access to news/weather. My planned blip was ruined this morning so we headed to the trail section of the park after lunch. There were so many tiny wildflowers but they almost get lost in a collage. I saw three types of milkweed beetle, this lovely blue dasher, and stunning water lilies. We took our traditional trip selfie in front of the Beaver Lake Spillway. We got back to the camper right as the thunderstorm arrived so we took a nap after a bit more reading. This evening, we ran out to buy fried chicken and a few groceries.
