Possession...

.. Is four fifths of the law, apparently

Today was a very nice day. Lazy start as usual on a Thursday, tea and biccies dans le chambre a coucher and after some conversation Mrs I and I went out. Together.
I know, who'd have thought it, eh?

We had booked a table for two (why would we book a table for more than that, there is indeed only the two of us.) But we still got a table for four, and it was most convivial. At The Hartley Arms, Wheaton Aston, Staffordshire, England.

Good food, great service and good company. How lucky she is (snort!!)

We did indeed enjoy a lovely time together, and my dear beloved pleased me enormously by bending the barman's arm and not letting go until he squealed for mercy and said, yes, alright, he can have the San Miguel glass, just put a couple of quid in the charity box and we'll call it quits. Result!

We both feel a sense of release after some difficult times of late, and hopefully this is the start of a beautiful friendship. We celebrate 44 years together in October, it is a miracle, but they do happen. And I have another lovely glass to add to my burgeoning collection.

As they say here in the Black Country... 'Bostin' our kid'!
