Garden spider ( Araneus diadematus )

Busy day with shopping first then this afternoon a look round the charity shops for my next Steampunk outfit !! Managed to get 2 items  for a total of £15 rather than the £100 odd they would have cost new, The fact they are worn in a bit helps the effect :-)
Then realised i had not taken any pictures today, so went into the garden this evening thinking there might be some moths, sorry arachnophobes but this very large garden spider caught my eye and was perfect for an evening flash shot
